The solder should be evenly distributed on the contact surface, filling the gaps, and the surface should be free from cracks, pores, slag inclusions, etc.
- – **Electrical Performance**: Use a multimeter to measure the conductivity to ensure that the circuit is conductive and the resistance is normal. When there are multiple solder joints, use an insulation resistance tester to measure the insulation resistance between adjacent solder joints, which should reach the standard value.
- – **Mechanical Performance**: Conduct a pull – out test through a special tensile testing device. The pull – out strength requirements vary for different terminals. Simulate the vibration environment to conduct a vibration test to ensure that the solder joints do not loosen or fall off.
- – **Microstructure**: Observe the microstructure of the solder joints with a metallographic microscope. The structure should be uniform, without coarse grains or segregation. A scanning electron microscope can be used to more clearly detect defects such as fine cracks and pores.
